Karl Harrison-Martel is a naturalized Montrealer who firmly believes in the beauty of the absurd and forgotten. He is angsty at times, and often comes off a bit quiet and brooding, but under his forbidding exterior is someone with a finely developed sense of humor and an almost preternatural radar for the invisible pathways that run under, through and over our fine city.

 

 

His penchant for derelict and decaying buildings is almost all-consuming, and makes for some very interesting portraits. He is always looking for willing models, and encourages anyone not averse to heights, dirt, or the dark to contact him.

 

 

He currently lives in Mile End with his stunning muse Roma Lake, and spends his nights walking the streets, alleys and rooftops of Montreal. He is tall and handsome and enjoys wearing shirts.
